        เพื่อความต่อเนื่องจากการจัดกิจกรรมเสวนาเพื่อแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นระหว่างผู้เชี่ยวชาญ ครั้งที่ 1 ภายใต้หัวข้อ “New Techs, Next Trends ไทยพร้อมหรือไม่? กับเทคโนโลยีใหม่และการทำธุรกรรมทางอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ในอนาคต” ในเดือนกรกฎาคมที่ผ่านมา เพื่อให้เข้าใจถึงประเด็นแนวโน้มของเทคโนโลยีอุบัติใหม่ (Emerging Technology) ที่สำคัญหรือควรให้ความสำคัญในช่วง 5-10 ปีข้างหน้า ความพร้อมของไทย ทั้งภาครัฐ ภาคเอกชน การเตรียมภาคสังคมและประชาชนให้รู้เท่าทันและใช้ประโยชน์อย่างสร้างสรรค์นั้น ได้รับความสนใจและความร่วมมืออย่างดีจากวิทยากรผู้มีความเชี่ยวชาญ และแขกผู้มีเกียรติจากหลายหน่วยงานภาครัฐและเอกชน บริษัท ฟรอส์ท แอนด์ ซัลลิวัน (ไทยแลนด์) จำกัด ตามที่ได้รับมอบหมายจากสำนักงานพัฒนาธุรกรรมทางอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ (สพธอ.) กระทรวงดิจิทัลเพื่อเศรษฐกิจและสังคม ในการศึกษาจัดทำข้อมูลและจัดกิจกรรมเสวนา จึงได้กำหนดจัดกิจกรรมเสวนาเพื่อแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นระหว่างผู้เชี่ยวชาญ ครั้งที่ 2 ภายใต้หัวข้อ “New Techs, Next Step ก้าวต่อไปของไทยกับเทคโนโลยีใหม่และการทำธุรกรรมทางอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ในอนาคต” เพื่อร่วมหาคำตอบ Next Step ของไทยและแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นร่วมกับผู้เชี่ยวชาญในภาคอุตสาหกรรมที่เกี่ยวข้องกับดิจิทัล ในประเด็นเกี่ยวกับ (1) บทบาทไทยในเวทีโลกเกี่ยวกับการพัฒนาเทคโนโลยีดิจิทัลและการพัฒนาธุรกรรมทางอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ (2) ข้อเสนอแนะในการส่งเสริมการใช้เทคโนโลยีใหม่ต่างๆ เพื่อขับเคลื่อนธุรกรรมทางอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ และเพิ่มขีดความสามารถของประเทศและ (3) ดัชนี้ชี้วัด หรือ Benchmark ที่สำคัญด้านดิจิทัลเพื่อให้หน่วยงานที่เข้าร่วมสามารถนำไปประยุกต์ใช้ในการกำหนดเป้าหมายเพื่อการพัฒนาด้านเทคโนโลยีดิจิทัล นวัตกรรมและธุรกรรมทางอิเล็กทรอนิกส์

        หวังเป็นอย่างยิ่งว่า กิจกรรมการเสวนาในครั้งที่ 2 ในวันอังคารที่ 24 สิงหาคม 2564 ภายใต้หัวข้อ “New Techs, Next Step ก้าวต่อไปของไทยกับเทคโนโลยีใหม่และการทำธุรกรรมทางอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ในอนาคต” จะช่วยจุดประกายให้ผู้เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมได้รับประโยชน์จากองค์ความรู้ ประสบการณ์ มุมมองของผู้เชี่ยวชาญจากทั้งภาครัฐ ภาคธุรกิจ ภาคเทคโนโลยีดิจิทัล ภาคสถาบันการศึกษา และหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องที่ได้แลกเปลี่ยนมุมมอง ทั้งยังเป็นเวทีที่ได้ร่วมกันถอดสูตรสำเร็จการขับเคลื่อนเทคโนโลยีใหม่เพื่อพลิกโฉมธุรกรรมทางอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ประเทศไทย เพื่อใช้เป็นแนวทางในการกำหนดนโยบาย วางกลยุทธ์และทิศทางองค์กร เพื่อขับเคลื่อนการใช้งานเทคโนโลยีอุบัติใหม่อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพและยั่งยืน

Dr. Mohammad Najeeb Azizi is an accomplished policy maker, regulator, technology economist and social development expert with a long track record of achievements with ITU, The United Nations, USAID, The World Bank, government s and academic institutions. With all round experiences, Dr. Azizi has served over the last two decades in multiple senior management and strategic positions in public and private sectors with achievements in education, logistics, finance, energy, ICT and public sector reforms.

Prior to his role at ITU, Dr. Azizi held several top-management and strategic positions in the ICT and other key industries such as Chairman of Afghanistan Telecom Regulatory Authority (ATRA), Professor & Researcher at Afghanistan Universities and Think Tanks, Executive Director at Afghanistan Information Management Services (AIMS), Institutional Adviser at Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation (MoTCA)/World Bank Emergency Transport Rehabilitation Project, Economic Adviser at Embassy of Afghanistan in Tokyo, and Economic & Finance Consultant to World Bank/ Afghanistan Telecom Board at Ministry of Communications in Afghanistan.

Besides his strong inspiration to improve the world ICT and economy development, Dr. Azizi has actively engaged in society contribution like Fundraising for Establishment of First Computer Lab and Renovating the play ground for Kabul Blind School where he participated in organization. Dr. Azizi also contributed his personal financing and also raised funds for the renovation of the playground of the school.

Dr. Azizi holds prestigious degrees in Ph.D. Economics from School of Humanities and Social Sciences of Okayama University in Japan and M.Sc. Economics and B.Sc. Economics (Honors) from School of Economics of International Islamic University Islamabad in Pakistan. Dr. Azizi also holds Democracy and Development Fellowship from Stanford University, Center on Democracy, Development and the Rule of Law, Institute for International Studies in the USA.

He has been engaging with leading ICT policy and regulatory organizations in order to accelerate Thailand ICT industry growth in both private and government sectors. Her responsibilities include overseeing intelligence and strategic unit, formulating and implementing Digital Economy Promotion Plan as well as corporate strategy – turning strategy to real practice. Kasititorn had Ph.D.in Science and Technology Policy Studies from Policy Research in Engineering, Science and Technology (PREST), University of Manchester, UK, in 1999. She spent nearly 20 years career at National Science and Technology Development Agency conducting and leading numerous ICT policy research as well as contributing to the formulation of successive Thailand ICT policy.
